We truly believe we have the most affordable sea containers on the market and can provide a level of customer service that is unmatched in our industry. So many small players in the market are run by one guy that has a "friend" down at the dock who can score a "deal". Problem is, that guy struggles with shipping costs (which get tacked on later for you) and doesn't always plan appropriately for the delivery.

That's just wrong in our opinion. We believe in upfront and honest pricing from the moment you make contact with us all the way to delivery. We hate surprises and want you to love buying Florida shipping containers from us forever! So why work with someone who doesn't have a strong reputation? Instead, work with the best container supplier in the state!

We wanted a container for extra storage on our property. I called several depots and these guys were the most upfront with pricing and had availability much quicker than the others. And their pricing was right in line with everyone else so I bought one. Everything was fantastic!

My husband and I wanted a small container for our toys. We have boats and water skis and didn't want to pay to have them stored so we looked for a quality container at a reasonable price. The quotes were reasonably priced and available quickly. We love our new container!

About Our Containers For Sale

You might already know this, but in case you don't, shipping containers come in a variety of sizes and quality. And if you're willing to spend the money, it can truly be customized to your exact size and dimensions.

The most common sizes on the market at 20-foot and 40-foot in length. These are the most readily available to buy because they are the standard sized used in the global shipping market overseas. Since they are more abundant, they are cheaper and easier to deliver because they already fit on most semis and train systems. Check out our guide on what to look for when buying a container.

We know some customers will have high standards and prefer a brand new storage container that's never been used. We can get those for you for a certain cost. For the vast majority of people, we know you want a slightly used shipping container that's still functional and watertight with limited wear and tear. That's our bread and butter for our customers! We have access to those types all over the state of Florida and can't wait to sell them to you.

Quality Options For The Containers

Truth be told, there isn't a standard rating system across America to determine the quality of shipping containers. However, there are some common practices across the industry and acceptable metrics that most companies leverage in advertising and for warranty purposes. Here's how we communicate them with our customers on new or used containers:

New Containers (aka One-Trip)

What is considered a "new shipping container" is as close as you can get to it being made right here in America. Unfortunately, over 95% of all containers in the world are made overseas and arrive here in the US by large cargo ships carrying dozens of them. So purchasing a brand new container in Florida simply means it will have the fewest possible miles on it from creation to your door.

The good news is if you purchase it new, it will only have one shipment in the ocean and thus likely have no visible damage at all. Obviously, it's completely water tight and ready for your usage. In some instances, we can even let you choose your color if you select it at purchase (but that's not always the case so ask first).

Cargo Worthy Containers (CW)

If you want the next highest quality container with out the "new" price tag, you'll want a high grade cargo-worthy container. These containers have had some trips across the sea, but still maintain the level of international shipping standards created by the shipping industries. These are solid boxes that are completely water tight and still look very good. It's similar to buying a used car that's only got 30,000 miles on it.

Wind & Water Tight Containers (Grade B or WWT)

The "B Grade" type of containers are next on the list for quality. They have made plenty of trips across the ocean and it shows. They have highly noticeable damage and often come with rust on corners. They are still water tight upon delivery, but may experience some issues soon after without some DIY repairs. These boxes are no longer certifiable to handle shipments across the ocean. We offer a very limited warranty on these types of containers simply because they are well used.

As-Is Condition Containers (Grade C)

The "C Grade" containers are ones we do not typically recommend to our customers. These containers do not come with any warranty from our company and it's because they have the most damage and often are not watertight. If you are a handy DIY person and want to repair these boxes to make them watertight, we can find some for you. These will be the absolute cheapest on the market, but hopefully you understand why. They likely have holes and rust in several areas or maybe a door that doesn't properly seal keep water and rodents out.

Common Questions About Buying Containers

Let's talk about some common questions we get about our storage containers for sale in Florida. These are good things to know and might help you in your search.

Can I put a container on my Florida property?

This is tough for us to answer, but most often the answer is yes. However, you are encouraged to check with your local and state officials for confirmation. In our experience, Florida is very accommodating of residents putting them on their property as long as it doesn't interfere with other residents or commercial areas.

Are Your Containers Watertight?

Yes we sell watertight shipping containers as a standard to all our customers. Rarely, an issue may occur where a defect slips through our inspection which is why we carry a warranty. Only if a customer asks for a lesser quality container would we ever sell one that's not water-tight.

What is the difference between a shipping container, a storage container or a Connex container?

There is no difference between these names or styles of containers. These are just different names used across the country to describe the same item. It's still a metal box with defined dimensions used in shipping materials on cargo boxes across the country.

And check out this fun topic of if containers make good storm shelters!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as the most popular payment method. We also accept electronic checks and we even offer a slight discount to all customers who choose to pay this way. Contact us to learn more. We do not accept cash on delivery or layaway type programs.

Can I get a specific color for my container?

For used shipping containers, no we cannot guarantee a color option. We source from local docks and it's whatever colors they have on hand at the time. The metal on the boxes is easy to paint though! For new containers, we can specific either gray or tan at this time only.

How much space is needed for container delivery?

For a standard 20-foot container, you need at least 75-feet of length clearance plus 12-feet of width clearance plus 20-feet of height clearance to safely deliver your container. This is because the trailer needs space to back up, and it tips the back end up to drop off the container on the ground.

For a standard 40-foot container, just add 25-feet of length clearance.

For the high cube box, just add 3-feet of height clearance.

What is the average lead time for sea containers?

We highly recommend that if you need containers on a specific date, that you call at least 3 weeks in advance. With all the details on shipping, it's hard to guarantee dates before then. See here for our locations

For used containers - standard delivery is usually 1-2 weeks and rush delivery can be as short as 3 business days.

For new containers - delivery is variable but often between 2-4 weeks.
